Job Description

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making within the division.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to develop and maintain budgets that align with organisational goals.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Deliver financial forecasts to anticipate future trends and resource requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Support project financial management, including funding applications and grant reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools for reporting and forecasting.
  • An ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector or similar industries is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
