Job Description

  • Manage the full purchase ledger cycle, including checking, coding, and processing invoices, expenses, and credit card transactions
  • Ensure accurate VAT treatment of invoices
  • Process client payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Record purchase ledger-related journals using NetSuite
  • Monitor and respond to queries in the Purchase Ledger inbox
  • Provide timely and accurate ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Handle cheque banking for client accounts
  • Ensure sufficient cash flow to meet payment obligations
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Support the Finance Manager with month-end and general accounting tasks

The Successful Applicant

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a central finance function
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with the following systems is a plus but not required:
    • NetSuite
    • Concur
    • Moneysoft
