Job Description



The finance assistant role has the following key responsibilities:

  • Financial Processing: Perform daily and weekly reconciliation of accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Invoice Management: Process, scan, and code invoices, maintaining organised and accurate financial records.
  • Transaction Support: Handle group and franchise trading statements, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Query Resolution: Monitor shared finance inboxes, addressing queries from internal and external stakeholders and resolving supplier issues promptly.
  • Document Distribution: Manage the distribution of financial documents, such as cheque books, gift vouchers/cards, and other essential paperwork.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the finance team with additional tasks and projects as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all financial processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining high accuracy levels

The successful candidate for the Finance Assistant will have some of or all of the above experience.
