Michael page are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client looking to hire a dedicated Finance Analyst who will assist in financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. This role will also analyse financial data and create financial models for stakeholders.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Finance Analyst will include:

  • Analyse results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Identify financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and budgets

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar financial analyst role ideally an FP&A background
  • Active studier working towards CIMA/ ACCA
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting software
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good business acumen
