Our client is a medium sized business based in the beautiful city of Oxford. They are looking for an experience Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. They have parking on site and offer hybrid working.

Job Description

Finance Analyst responsibilities:

  • Analysing financial data and producing financial reports for decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance department to monitor company expenditure.
  • Assist in the production of key management information.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis related to financial projects and initiatives.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and budget control.
  • Consolidation and reporting of quarterly forecasts.
  • Assist in the production of the Group Statutory Report & Accounts.
  • Working closely with other departments to improve financial performance.
  • Participating in financial auditing processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent finance experience.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
