Job Description

  • Oversee fabric development, sourcing and supplier management.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's quality standards and sustainability goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fabric suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand fabric needs for each collection.
  • Monitor market trends in fabric technology and sourcing.
  • Manage fabric budget and cost negotiations with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of fabrics.
  • Resolve any fabric-related issues that may impact product quality or delivery timelines.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Fabric Manager - Fashion Supply should have:

  • A degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in fabric sourcing and development within a supplier.
  • In depth knowledge and experience of sourcing jersey fabrics.
  • Strong understanding of fabric properties, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in the fashion industry.
  • Strong budget management skills and excellent attention to detail.
