This large organisation has a reputation for making significant contributions to the community and prides itself on fostering a supportive, inclusive work environment for its expansive workforce.Job DescriptionDuties of the Executive Support and Governance Lead:Leading on projects arising from the Senior Leadership teamProviding Governance support to each group member organisation, including the co-ordination of key activities and documentsLeading on communication updatesCoordinating Board meetings across each member organisation including collation and distribution of papersCoordinating the Audit and Risk Committee including collating and distributing papers & ensuring that audit actions are followed through to completionCoordinating and chairing the Group Health and Safety committee, working alongside external advisorsCoordinating the activity of the Policy Action Group, including roll out of policies and associated processesCoordinating the activity of the software development groupSupporting the exec team with monitoring and reporting on risksUndertake quality assurance checks across the groups compliance activities in conjunction with the Asset Management Team and providing detailed reporting to SLT and Boards/CommitteesSupporting annual governance processes, submissions and returns, including record keeping for contracts, board and employee declarationsSupporting the regular updating of the website and SharePoint pages for colleagues, Board and Committee membersUndertake any ad-hoc finance and business tasks as required and commensurate with the role.The Successful ApplicantA successful Executive Support and Governance Lead should have:Experience supporting at board levelExperience chairing committeesExceptional organisational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of governance best practicesAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionWhat's on OfferA competitive salary range of £38,000 - £45,000A rewarding role in a well-respected Not For Profit organisationA supportive and inclusive work cultureOpportunities for personal and professional growthHybrid workingA chance to make a significant impact in the communityIf you're a dedicated professional eager to make a difference, this Executive Support and Governance Lead role based in Salford could be your next great career move.
