Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Director to lead and manage the sales effort across Europe. This is a key leadership role, responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets while ensuring the strategic growth of the business. The successful candidate will drive performance, oversee a dedicated sales team, and play a crucial role in expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow sales in the European region to meet and exceed company objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to support the company's long-term growth.
- Establish and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with Operations Teams to achieve target EBITDAs.
- Provide strategic direction and effective leadership to the European Sales Team (both inside and outside sales).
- Deliver monthly sales performance reports and manage the sales funnel effectively.
- Support European manufacturing facilities and provide occasional global support.
Travel as required (up to 50%) to meet customers, attend trade shows, and participate in key company meetings
The Successful Applicant
European Sales Director
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Tenure in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering ideally in electro mechanical products but not essential.
- Industry experience in Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Motorsport, Medical, Oil & Gas, or Power Distribution is desirable.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business development background.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to innovate and create market leadership.
- Commercially astute with excellent problem-solving skills.
