The Enterprise Account Manager - Automotive will drive sales of innovative technology solutions in the automotive sector, and foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Our client is a large organisation within the Battery Technology industry. They provide cutting-edge solutions to the automotive sector, ensuring clients are at the forefront of technological advancements.

Job Description

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at Automotive OEMs, including executives, senior managers, project managers, and engineers.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively position our software solutions and services as valuable business enablers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive growth, maximize revenue opportunities, and expand our footprint within existing Automotive OEM accounts, and Group Companies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development to secure new business and contract renewals.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Product Managers, Application Engineers and Customer Delivery Teams, to ensure alignment on client needs and delivery of exceptional service.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Enterprise Account Manager - Automotive should have:

  • Proven experience in enterprise software sales, selling to customers in the automotive industry in roles of business development or account management. Experience working in the battery industry beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape, notably across UK, Europe and North America.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with C-level executives.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Purpose-driven, keen to make a positive global impact through the products we develop and deliver to customers.
  • Proven ability to convey customer requirements to Product and Engineering Teams.
