This well-established company offers a supportive environment and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.Job DescriptionWorking from drawings, manuals, schematics etc.Proven experience working on assembly of both mechanical and electrical equipment and electromechanical systems.To contribute to fitting, building or construction of various parts to ensure a smooth process of component amalgamation.Good electro / mechanical skillsAssembly of parts or components to build a new or repeatable product.Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.Sound knowledge of engineering tools and electrical hand tools and equipment including torquing.Maturity and engineering practicalityAdherence to Company policies and proceduresAbility to mentor and develop team members.Apply good workmanship and ensure quality standards are met and maintained.Report any substandard/ malfunction or defective parts.Select measure and modify components to ensure component fit.Carry out MTOs and order material for allocated tasks both internal and for site works.Assemble prototype and development units with Supervisors and managers.Ensure the working environment and equipment are kept clean, tidy and in good condition.Working to deadlines and strict adherence to Quality and H&S principlesPositive attitude, Flexible working O/T as required, and ability to fit in as part of a team.Complete testing of panels, up to and including current injection.Mechanical/electrical maintenance work and site modificationsThermal Imaging inspections and report writing.Perform other duties as assigned.The Successful ApplicantA successful Electrician should have:C&G Electrical Qualification & an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or equivalent.Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.Experienced in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.Experienced in field service work / on-site installations.Familiar with Risk Assessments and Method statementsCurrent 18th Edition certificationWhat's on OfferA competitive hourly rate of £15.22 p/h + 30% Shift allowance = £19,78 p/hEquivalent salary including shift allowance £41,154.28 per annum30% shift allowanceGenerous overtime paid at time and half and double time with bonus hours paid after 6, 10 and 12 hours overtime worked per week.£1,000 attendance bonusComprehensive pension and life assurance schemesA four-day working weekPermanent fulltime positionCareer progressionCompany Social ClubIncentivised Gym MembershipCycle-to-work schemeThis position offers a unique opportunity to grow and thrive in the exciting field of Infrastructure Technology solutions cooling the AI Revolution.
