We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Engineering and Manufacturing team in Inverness. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting electrical equipment in our FMCG environment.

Job Description

  • Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical components and systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Manufacturing team to improve processes.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrician should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ISO9001 and ISO14001
