Their service and product excellence is supported by technical and quality expertise.Job DescriptionAs the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be tasked with the following;Diagnose and remedy equipment/plant faults, and minimise plant downtimeEnsure all breakdowns are carried out constructively and accuratelyEnsure all parts required are booked out correctly and recorded as necessaryPlanned preventative maintenance tasksAdopt continuous improvement, innovative and pro-active approach to improve ways of working, offering possible solutions wherever possibleWork closely with production to achieve production needsMaintain awareness of financial implications of actionsCarry out all necessary IT & manual recording tasks relevant to the operation of the departmentFacilitate lean ways of working to minimise waste and maximise efficiency, to achieve departmental objectivesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:* BTEC Level in an electrical engineering discipline and/or relevant experience, training or certification* Minimum 3 years' experience within a industrial/manufacturing environment, although other modern industrial environments would be considered* Demonstrable hands-on knowledge of electrical and PLC control systems (PLC programming experience not essential)*Experience working with 3-phase motor and variable speed drive systemss.What's on OfferAn estimated salary of £45,000 - £48,800 per annum.Upto 21% PensionComprehensive holiday leave package.Shift basisOpportunities for professional development within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.Unique opportunity to work in Rotherham with a leading Industrial / Manufacturing company.We encourage all suitable candidates to seize this opportunity.
