My client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance of their manufacturing equipment. The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • The salary for this role is £45k.
  • The shift pattern is afternoons, 2-10 Monday to Friday.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment within the factory.
  • Implementation of preventative maintenance plans.
  • Diagnosis of electrical malfunctions and implementation of effective solutions.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaboration with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to optimise production processes.
  • Training junior staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  • Reporting of maintenance activities and relevant issues to the management.
  • Staying updated with latest industrial technology and techniques.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Electrical qualifications.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of PLCs.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication abilities.
