This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic regional sales plans, leading and coaching a high-performing sales team, and managing full P&L accountability.This is a pivotal role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on performance management to ensure regional sales targets are met and exceeded.Develop, communicate, and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives to achieve revenue and profit targets.Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team. Provide clear direction, support, and mentorship to ensure team engagement and development.Monitor performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and take proactive action to address underperformance while recognising and rewarding success.Own and manage the full P&L for the region, ensuring cost control, margin management, and profitability.Leverage knowledge across multiple sectors (e.g., construction, manufacturing, logistics) to identify new opportunities and grow market share.Maintain strong customer relationships, understand market dynamics, and identify trends to inform sales approaches and product positioning.Work closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, and product development to ensure alignment on customer needs and business priorities.The Successful Applicant District Sales Manager will have:Proven track record of leading sales teams in a volume-based, industrial or manufacturing environment.Experience working across multiple sectors with varying sales cycles and customer types.Strong commercial acumen with full P&L management experience.Demonstrated success in building and motivating high-performing teams.Excellent coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to handle performance issues decisively and constructively.Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.Data-driven decision-making and reporting skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Background in sectors such as construction materials, engineering, manufacturing, or logistics.Experience with CRM systems and data analytics tools.What's on Offer Competitive base and package commensurate with the roleThis role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the sales success of a fast-paced, high-volume business with significant growth ambitions.
