Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all disrepair cases from start to finish.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with the property department to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct property surveys and report on findings.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents.
  • Identify and implement improvement strategies for the disrepair process.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall goals of the department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Disrepair Surveyor should have:

  • A degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience in handling disrepair cases in a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of property regulations and standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to its success.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in conducting property surveys.
