Job Description

  • Manage a diverse caseload of legal disputes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on matters related to disputes and litigation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Attend court proceedings and represent clients in dispute resolution processes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records for future reference.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the legal industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Disputes Associate should have:

  • A strong academic background in law, with relevant legal qualifications.
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or a common law jurisdiction.
  • Currently working within a top tier disputes practice.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex legal disputes and litigation processes.
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills to produce high-quality legal documents.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving within the legal framework.
