Exciting opportunity for a Director / MD Capital Formation Structurer to join a leading UK & US based private credit fund in London.A leading private credit manager is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead its capital formation structuring initiatives. The Director / Managing Director of Capital Formation Structuring will be responsible for developing and executing complex capital structuring strategies, managing investor relations, and optimizing the firm's capital structure. This role requires deep expertise in private credit markets, ideally NAV, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in structuring innovative financial solutions. Candidates with a background in investment banking structuring are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Capital Structuring Initiatives: Oversee all capital structuring activities, including fundraises, joint ventures, co-investments, and separate accounts.
  • Develop Structuring Strategies: Create and implement strategies targeting institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Investor Relations Management: Ensure consistent communication and transparency with current and prospective investors.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership: Work closely with the executive team, acquisitions, and asset management to align capital structuring strategies with firm objectives.
  • Prepare Investment Materials: Develop and present pitch decks, investor reports, offering memorandums, and due diligence materials.
  • Expand Investor Base: Identify and attend key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, investor preferences, and competitor strategies to inform structuring efforts.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with capital structuring.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in capital formation, structuring, or fundraising within private credit, NAV, or alternative investments. Experience in investment banking structuring and investor solutions is highly desirable
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Track Record: Proven success in structuring complex financial solutions for investors
  • Location: Based in or willing to relocate to London, UK.
