The Digital Content Manager will manage the social media and content team, whilst developing and delivering digital content across social media to support the University with their student recruitment goals and engagement. This temporary opportunity based in London requires a skilled individual to manage content effectively across various platforms for 3 months.

Job Description

  • Plan, create, and manage digital content across websites, social media, and events.
  • Team management of 2 Officers.
  • Grow online audiences via social media.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and organisational goals.
  • Monitor and analyse digital content performance using analytics tools, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and content delivery.
  • Manage digital content schedules to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Digital Content Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in creating and managing digital content within the not-for-profit or related education sectors.
  • Team management.
  • Desirable: previous work experience within the higher education sector.
  • Experience of managing social media campaigns and video production.
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools and content optimisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Confidence working with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive daily rate, depending on experience (PAYE or Umbrella).
  • Annual equivalent salary £50,000.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working in London 3 days a week.
  • 3 month contract to start end of July.
