Job Description
Debt Recovery Paralegal
* Fee earning role
* Run own caseload giving advice to clients from instruction to hearing/settlement
* Draft and submit Claim Forms and Winding-Up/Bankruptcy Petitions
* Draft Statutory Demands for service
* Enforcement proceedings
* Draft pleadings and witness statements for the County Court.
* Manage multiple deadlines that relate to a variety of legal cases at any one time
* Liaise with Court prior to trials to ensure necessary paperwork is in order* Assist with marketing of the department
The Successful Applicant
* Possess solid drafting skills
* Ability to prepare pleadings and witness statements for the Court
* Competent in all MS applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Client focused, with good communication skills. * Debt Recovery in a similar role.
