The client has a focus on staff and student experience, believing this is key to every successful education system.Job DescriptionAnalysis of current systems and user needs within an initial report producedSupervise and advise the data administratorPlanning and managing MIS integration, synchronisation and utilisationStrategic planning for the efficient integration of the school's intranet and pupil and parent portalWork with the director of digital strategy in the development of the school's management information system and its implementation ensuring industry compatibility and up-to date hardware/softwareDevelop protocols and advise the director of digital strategy on data security, data loading, extraction, logic checks, discrepancy checks and data cleansing.Develop automated reporting tools to produce data listings, summary tables and graphics.To provide technical support for data systems to all departments in the school.Develop data user manuals and provide training to system users (adjust existing iSAMS manuals to make them more user friendly).Any other administrative tasks as reasonably requested by the COO or director of digital strategy.The Successful ApplicantEducated to degree level or equivalent professional qualificationsKnowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 platformsExperience in developing and implementing data strategiesExperience in delivering training on a one-to-one and group basisExperience in using a wide range of relevant software applications (ISAMs)Fluent in current and emerging trends in data managementFluent in management information systems and (desirable) fluent in ISAMS as a MISKnowledge of relational databases such as SQL server databasesKnowledge of data multiplication through scripting language (T-SQL etc.)Knowledge of report creation tools, such as Microsoft SSRS or Power BiKnowledge of PowerShell, Python, R, Rest APIs and software development is desirableWhat's on OfferAn opportunity to lead data as a service, driving the benefits of data analysis and forecasting to senior stakeholders to make more informed business decisions.
