This is an exciting role and great time to join the business as they embark on a journey of growth.The Customer Service Manager will lead the Customer Service & Order Management teams, along with process improvement and systems / channel implementation projectsJob DescriptionLead, motivate and inspire the Customer Service & Order Management function responsible for delivering world class service to global B2B customersCreate process standardisation across UK & International sites to allow a consistent and efficient approach to delivering a great customer journeyIdentify and drive ways to improve the customer supply chain from order processing through to deliveryReduce manual order processing through automation and implementation of new process, procedures and channelsWork closely with production and planning to understand upcoming challenges, customer demand and best manage customer ordersCreate a proactive culture of working with customers, informing customers of potential changes and amendments to their ordersThrough regular review, identify ways to improve the end to end customer journey through process mapping and continuous improvement activities that will increase customer satisfaction and efficiencyWork with ERP & EDI systems to maximise outputs and efficiency to support CSWork with in house and 3rd party logistics providers to ensure dispatch plan is effective and in line with customer expectationsThe Successful ApplicantExperience in leadership role focused of customer service / order managementExperience within a manufacturing or supply focused businessExperience working with or implementing ERP systemsStrong people leader and motivatorAbility to drive process and continuous improvement activitiesUnderstanding of end to end order managementExtensive stakeholder management experienceWhat's on OfferThe role of Customer Service Manager will join a market leading manufacturer on their site in the North East.The role offers a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 plus exceptional benefits including generous car allowance & private medical insurance.
