Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Customer and Market Insight Executive:

  • Delivering a regular programme of market insight generation, reporting and dashboard creation that ensures the business has a regular, robust and up to date understanding of the market.
  • Conducting deep dive analysis into key topics and sectors - including contributing to the creation of competitive analysis reports.
  • Designing and bringing to life visual and compelling ways to report on the market that engages and supports stakeholders to self-serve.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments, including commercial performance, marketing and planning team to generate regular reporting.
  • Staying updated on the latest external factors that may impact the business - including Government legislation, competitive developments and market trends.
  • Implementing surveys on the Qualtrics CX measurement platform. This will involve establishing business requirements, identifying data sources, designing and scripting surveys, analysing and communicating the results

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Customer and Market Insight Executive will have:

  • Experience in managing and manipulating complex data sets, excellent IT skills, including Excel (advanced), other data analytics tools such as PowerBI
  • Comfortable in navigating and interpreting market-based datasets in a precise manner, enabling stakeholders to view valuable market insights and make data-driven decisions that will enhance the success of the business.
  • Proven experience in looking at complex markets, understanding trends and market movements, e.g., in market share, and using that insight to inform business actions and decisions.
  • Proven experience in Customer Experience measurement.
  • Familiarity with combining various varieties of insight and data (market share, revenue, qualitative insight, CX survey data) into clear and compelling visualisations and dashboards that tell a story and can be communicated clearly to stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to draw strong conclusions and recommendations from multiple data sources. Proven examples demonstrating commercial impact.
