This is a fantastic London based opportunity for an experienced candidate to join my clients Credit Department where you will be focusing on structured credit within the EMEA region.This role involves evaluating risk for primarily project finance credits, with broader exposure across asset acquisition financing, asset finance (aviation, shipping, and real estate), and related derivatives.

Job Description

▪️ Conduct risk evaluations and monitor project finance credits.
▪️ Provide guidance to the front office on credit procedures, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
▪️ Prepare detailed and well-articulated credit papers.
▪️ Monitor debtors and industry sub-sectors within an assigned portfolio.
▪️ Collaborate with various teams to develop solutions for problematic cases.

The Successful Applicant

▪️ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a major financial institution or relevant experience with a ratings agency.
▪️ Strong knowledge of lending structures, cash-flow analysis, and market trends.
▪️ Excellent communication and writing skills.
▪️ Ability to manage transactions from inception to approval independently.
▪️ Flexibility to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
