Job Description

Credit Controller:



  • Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries, providing excellent service.
  • Review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness, setting appropriate terms and limits.
  • Effectively manage and collect outstanding customer debts to maximize cash flow while minimizing risk.
  • Reconcile accounts, manage customer portals (EDI), and resolve payment and invoice queries.
  • Produce and distribute customer statements, overdue reminders, and credit hold reports.
  • Proactively monitor high-value invoices and new accounts, escalating issues as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth communication.
  • Provide month-end consolidated invoicing and maintain compliance with strict processes.



The Successful Applicant

Credit Controller:

The ideal candidate will have previous credit control experience, strong organizational and time management skills, and a customer-focused attitude. You'll be proficient in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with resilience and a proactive approach to work.
