Job Description

  • Monitor and manage the credit control process to ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Prepare and reconcile customer accounts in the accounting system.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding balances and payment queries.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and billing records.
  • Generate and analyse financial reports related to credit and collections.
  • Assist in implementing credit policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Support the finance team with month-end processes and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting and finance role.
  • A strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • An ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are advantageous.
