Job Description

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess customer creditworthiness.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute invoices to customers accurately.
  • Follow up on overdue payments through phone, email, and written communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Strong knowledge of credit control and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in the transport & distribution industry is advantageous.
