Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller will include:

  • Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients as required.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding payments to reduce overdue debt.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed reports on credit control activities and account statuses.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address client queries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department in meeting financial objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Relevant experience within credit control or a similar accounting role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving capabilities to manage payment discrepancies effectively.
  • A professional and organised approach to workload management.
  • Knowledge of the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry is desirable but not essential.
