Job Description

  • Communicating directly with customers to chase aged debt and resolve queries
  • Reviewing POD's and investigating queries
  • Establishing corrective actions for queries and raising corrective invoices and credits on the ERP system
  • Ensuring customers are operating within approved credit limits, placing orders on hold where required
  • Sending customer statements on a weekly basis
  • Allocation of customer payments within ERP system and management of customer deductions
  • Regular reporting of aged debtors
  • Highlighting and escalating potential issues to the Financial Controller via weekly meetings
  • Review and improve accounts receivable processes where deemed necessary
  • Working closely with supply chain to establish better processes and resolve queries
  • Month end reporting of sales information and debtor positions



The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller (Part Time) should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
