Due to recent rapid growth, they are now looking to hire a Credit Controller/ Accounts Receivable to join their diverse Team. This is a permanent role with hybrid working 2-3 days in the office / working from home.Their offices are based in London, close to St Paul Tube Station.Sector: FMCG/ RETAILJob DescriptionCredit Controller/ Accounts Receivable:Full responsibility for a potion of the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable LedgerEnsure that customers pay amounts owed to the company on the due date, including the speedy resolutions of any queries or claims in liaison with the customer services team.Gathers, investigates, analyzes and processes Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit and any other security required on Customer Accounts.Allocate payments on account. Investigate short payments, overpayments, credit requests and determines appropriate resolution to inherited complex reconciliations.Review financial information, credit reports, customer pay history, etc. to recommend appropriate credit limits for assigned accounts.Escalate accounts for debt collection and/or report to insurers in line with company policyRaising sales invoicesChsing PO'sPreparing the Age debtor reportPrepare periodic and ad-hoc reporting for management, as requested.The Successful Applicant Preference 3+ years' experience in a Credit control and Receivables ideally from Retail or FMCGExcel experience essentialMethodical, patient, flexible and open minded are all essential attributesExcellent time management skills with ability to work independently on multiple tasks.Works well under pressure, follows through on commitments and meets deadlinesStrong analytical thinking skills / problem solver.
