Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse cost reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining accurate cost accounting systems and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate inventory levels and associated costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities within the finance department.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits related to cost accounting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cost Accountant (Part-Qualified) should have:

  • Part-qualification in a recognised accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
