Job Description

  • Oversee capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register for a variety of Group companies
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of ongoing projects against approved budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of capital expenditure for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of financial policies related to capital investments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Open to part qualified / qualified / qualified by experience
  • Experienced in a similar accounting role, ideally including experience in accounting for capital expenditure and fixed assets and month-end procedures, adhering to reporting deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial planning and reporting.
  • Experience working within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels
