About Our Client

My client is a leading provider in the industrial manufacturing space, with a focus on automotive, welding and fabrication equipment and services, committed to developing a culture of sustainable improvement. They are currently seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to lead and implement a comprehensive CI strategy across their operations. Having gained significant investment to build a brand-new site, they have year on year growth, solid cash flow and an people development first culture.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead multiple CI projects, focusing on reducing waste and improving efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship, becoming the go-to person for CI initiatives.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions, enhancing Lean capabilities across the business.
  • Report monthly data to senior management, ensuring progress on CI projects.
  • Drive the digitalization of processes, including workflow systems and standardization.

The Successful Applicant

  • Manufacturing Experience: Extensive background in manufacturing, particularly in heavy machinery or related industries.
  • CI Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Training Skills: Proven ability to design and deliver impactful CI training programs to diverse audiences, both skilled and unskilled.
  • Green Belt (minimum): Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt a plus).
  • Analytical Mindset: Experience in using data to drive operational improvements and efficiencies.
  • Soft Skills: Team player with strong emotional intelligence, humility, and a people-first leadership style.
