Working with a high-performing team and over 350 operational staff, you'll have the tools, autonomy, and leadership support to create meaningful change and build a legacy of excellence. My client, a market-leading manufacturing business specialising in heavy machinery and bespoke engineering solutions, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to enhance processes and support ongoing growth. Job Description

  • Leadership & Strategy: Establish and drive a CI program, embedding a culture of innovation and efficiency.
  • Training & Coaching: Deliver engaging training and workshops for staff across all levels (classroom and shop floor).
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and report progress monthly to senior leaders.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, engineering, quality, and logistics to embed CI practices across the organisation.
  • Process Implementation: Introduce Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and streamline work flows.
  • Influence & Engagement: Work with diverse teams, from shop floor staff to senior leadership, to drive enthusiasm and buy-in for change initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

My client is looking for a passionate change-maker with the ability to inspire and educate teams at all levels.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Solid manufacturing background, ideally in heavy machinery, welding, or fabrication.
  • Proven success in Continuous Improvement, with a minimum of Green Belt certification (Black Belt desirable).
  • Strong training and coaching skills - know how to motivate and educate diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
  • Hands-on experience on the shop floor, with a history of engaging teams to implement meaningful change.
