Job Description

  • Offer strategic guidance on Consumer Duty regulations and their practical implementation.
  • Develop and refine frameworks to ensure compliance with Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Review and update policies to align with evolving regulatory standards.
  • Deliver training and educational sessions to internal stakeholders on Consumer Duty obligations.
  • Monitor industry developments to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of compliance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Consumer Duty SME should have:

  • Extensive knowledge of Consumer Duty regulations within the Financial Services sector.
  • Proven experience in Risk & Compliance functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements effectively to diverse audiences.
  • A background in developing and implementing compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
