Job Description

Content Creation: Develop engaging content such as videos, presentations, reports, and marketing materials to effectively communicate key messages.
Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and evaluate events including conferences, receptions, and webinars, ensuring high-quality execution.Stakeholder Communications: Create tailored briefings and messaging for key stakeholders, including government, NHS bodies, and charities.
Strategic Communications Planning: Support the delivery of communication plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and emerging strategic initiatives.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities for engagement and collaboration.
Process and System Improvement: Establish and refine systems to enhance efficiency, streamline communication, and improve team operations.
Best Practice & Knowledge Sharing: Promote effective communication strategies across the organisation, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
External Representation: Represent the organisation at conferences, events, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring a strong and professional presence.

The Successful Applicant

  • A proactive communicator who spots opportunities and tells great stories.
  • Strong content creation skills across writing, video, and presentations.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and shaping key messages.
  • Organised and methodical, able to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Experience managing events, from logistics to delivering engaging content.

  • Background in communications, public affairs, or engagement.
