Job Description

  • Reputation Management:
  • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the firm's image and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media sentiment to identify potential issues and opportunities.
  • Proactively manage potential crises and reputational risks.
  • Media Relations:
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests from journalists and other media outlets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
  • Pitch stories and secure media coverage for the firm and its lawyers.
  • Content Creation:
  • Write press releases, articles, blog posts, and other content for various channels.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to engage audiences and build brand awareness.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Internal Communications:
  • Communicate firm news and updates to employees.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to foster a positive and engaged workplace culture.
  • Events and Speaking Engagements:
  • Plan and execute PR events to promote the firm and its lawyers.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and speeches at industry events.
  • Build relationships with industry leaders and influencers.
  • Crisis Communication:
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans.
  • Respond to media inquiries and manage public perception during a crisis.

The Successful Applicant

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in PR media relations and content creation.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and digital communications.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop effective PR plans.
  • Crisis communication experience is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field is typically required.
