It collaborates with local authorities, businesses, and government to shape long-term transport strategies, ensuring a more connected region.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement strategic communication plans.Manage projects/campaigns as directed to support delivery organisation's business planEngage and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the transport & distribution industry.Oversee the creation of marketing materials for various campaigns.Lead the Communications and Engagement team within the Marketing & Agency department.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.Ensure communication strategies align with company objectives.Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent company message.Act as Communications Business Partner to designated teams providing support/guidance to deliver Communications/engagement plan.The Successful ApplicantA successful Communications and Engagement professional should have:Substantial experience in managing effective public affairs and engagement activities including media relations, social media, internal communications, stakeholder engagement, conference and events and e-communications.Proven ability to deal with a wide cross section of stakeholders and partners effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.Experience of working in a multi-channel Communications/Corporate Engagement roleAbility to delivering Communications/Corporate Engagement campaigns to support key organisational priorities.A strategic mindset with the ability to implement effective communication plans.Experience of using relevant digital channels and associated software e.g. social media, newsletter production/distribution and associated analytics/reporting.What's on OfferA competitive salary range of £320 to £450 per day.The opportunity to work in a fast-paced and thriving industry.A strong company culture that promotes professional growth and learning.Hybrid working arrangementIf you are a driven and strategic Communications and Engagement professional, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
