They will manage their own portfolio of commercial contracts-reviewing, advising, negotiating, and drafting-ensuring compliance with financial and governance regulations.The role supports legal contract progression across areas such as academic partnerships, international collaborations, research funding, IT, procurement, and marketing. The post-holder will ensure contract processes are followed, liaise with stakeholders, and identify outstanding information or risks.They will draft legal agreements and letters, assist senior legal staff, respond to internal queries, and support contract administration. The role also includes handling low to medium complexity casework across a wide range of university business areas.The Successful ApplicantLaw degree or qualifying experienceCommercial contracts - ideally from another academic institutionWhat's on OfferA competitive salary starting at c. £42,000.
