Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Commercial Accountant include:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports.
  • Perform cost analysis and identify potential areas for cost reduction.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support the site management team with financial understanding and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Help in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commerical Accountant should have:

  • A strong academic background in Accounting or Finance.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
