Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the group's vision and objectives.
  • Oversee the Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management functions at both group and cluster levels, ensuring cohesion and efficiency.
  • Define and monitor performance objectives for the sales and marketing teams, providing regular reporting to top management.
  • Collaborate with local teams to adapt strategies to the specific needs of different markets.
  • Lead, motivate, and support sales, marketing, and revenue management teams, ensuring their skills development and growth.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the commercial and marketing teams.
  • Represent the group to commercial partners, travel agencies, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to enhance the group's visibility and competitiveness in the market.

The Successful Applicant

A graduate of a hospitality, business, or marketing school (MBA or equivalent preferred), you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role at the group or cluster level.
With proven experience in African markets, you have been involved in hotel openings and launches.
You have strong expertise in CRM tools, revenue management platforms, and digital distribution channels.
Fluency in both English and French is required.
Regular travel across Africa will be necessary as part of your responsibilities.
