Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsInterim role for 6 months in NHS organisationProject and Programme ManagementAbout Our ClientThis organisation is the major acute care provider for the NHS for Bradford district and comprises a complex estate with a wide range of current and ongoing projects.Job DescriptionWorking closely with the Capital, Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team and other Trust Senior Managers, the Capital Programme Manager (Minor Works) will have responsibility for both overseeing and delivering Capital Projects or programmes of projects upto a value of c. £1M, supporting the Deputy Director of Capital & Strategic Development in the provision of leadership and management to support the successful delivery of the hospitals physical estate strategy.You will be responsible for managing the Capital Minor Works Projects Team , providing strong leadership to ensure all projects are briefed, designed, delivered, monitored and governed within strict budgetary and specification constraints; delivered to a high standard of quality and in a consistent and professional manner.The Capital Programme Manager (Minor Works) will manage both internal and external professional teams, required to provide project management, building surveying, quantity surveying, engineering and clerk of work services, to complete schemes from low value c. £1k to c. £1M in value. Responsible for ensuring suitable and competent resources are provided, making sure each scheme is efficiently delivered from inception through to post-occupancy evaluation.Schemes will comprise Capital New Build and Refurbishment, Long Term Maintenance and Major Back-Log Maintenance Programme(s).The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will have significant construction and estates expertise, ideally in health care environment although not essential, ideally a construction related degree or equivalent and experience of in house staff leadership as well as management of contractors, consultants and stakeholder relationships.What's on OfferCirca £21 - £25 per hour, rising after 12 weeks, and 4 days on site in Bradford, one working from home.
