Job Description
- Managing and reporting on capital expenditure and fixed assets
- Ensuring accurate capital accounting in accordance with the applicable standards
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process
- Liaising with external auditors
- Providing guidance and support to other team members
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department
- Complying with all regulatory requirements and internal controls
The Successful Applicant
A successful Capital Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of capital accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
