Job Description

  • Produce detailed, technical drawings for design solutions withing the Engineering Design team.
  • Check, Edit and Maintain drawings and other Technical Documentation.
  • Prepare technical documents such as specifications, reports, manuals, procedures.
  • Support hardware development and testing.
  • Compile technical documents and test specifications.
  • Interpret technical specifications.
  • Liaise with suppliers and purchasing functions.
  • Provide support for the production, test and field engineering teams.
  • Support the sales team with bids and quotations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CAD Designer/Design Engineer should have:

  • Experience working within an Engineering team and Design Department
  • Extensive proficiency in CAD software.
  • Proven experience of BoM management and configuration.
  • Knowledge and use of Geometrical Tolerances, ISO and ASME technical drawing standards.
  • Strong knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry and its design standards.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team.
