Job Description

As a New Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the company's growth by bringing in new clients and nurturing high-value relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and reaching out to potential clients through research, networking, and outreach channels such as LinkedIn
  • Managing the entire sales process from the first contact to deal closure, ensuring a professional and personalised client experience
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of leads, regularly updating the CRM with activity and progress
  • Delivering compelling product demos and presentations that address client challenges and highlight the benefits of our SaaS solutions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align on sales strategies and leverage resources effectively
  • Consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets for calls, meetings, deals, and revenue
  • Representing the company at industry events and webinars, helping to build our presence and reputation

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven track record in SaaS sales, with experience meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Confidence managing complex sales cycles, typically between 60-90 days, and handling deals ranging from £10,000 to £100,000+
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives, IT directors, and other senior decision-makers
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to spot opportunities and overcome challenges
  • Comfortable using CRMs such as Salesforce and sales prospecting tools like LinkedIn
  • Passionate about technology and its role in helping businesses succeed
  • Previous experience in a new business or business development role is essential
