Job Description

  • Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Lead the Accounting & Finance team in executing these strategies.
  • Forge strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Accountant should have:

  • A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ideally AAT/ACA/ACCA
  • Proven experience or strong interest in a business development role within the professional services industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and business development skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of the professional services industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
