We are seeking a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Manager who can strategically lead and manage the bid process, to support the continued growth through the management of bid submissions and proposals from initial enquiry to tender submission for projects from £500k to £250m.

  • Full end-to-end bid role, including doing 100% of the writing yourself

Job Description

  • Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of quality submissions
  • Read, understand and extract the key bid requirements from the documentation received and communicate with all parties
  • Identify and communication evaluation criteria and its relevance to question specific scores
  • Plan, write and coordinate submission responses ensuring client and job specific answers
  • Develop and implement bid strategy in alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the property industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the bid process.
  • Support the development of junior team members and promote a collaborative team culture.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Bid Manager should have:

  • An academic background in Sales, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in a full bid lifecycle role within the property industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A strategic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical writing skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
