Job Description

  • Conducting background checks on prospective and existing employees.
  • Managing and maintaining a database of screenings and outcomes.
  • Handling discrepancies in relation to Rights to Work, DBS checks, and references.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to ensure the company's compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Answering employee queries regarding the screening process.
  • Resolving any issues that arise during the screening process.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in screening regulations and implementing necessary changes.
  • Assisting in the overall HR administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of all sensitive information.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Background Screening Administrator should have:

  • Experience in Background Screening (vital).
  • Proven ability in onboarding, compliance, and vetting
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent database management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organisation and time-management, adhering to tight deadlines.
