Job Description

  • Leading audit engagements - Managing day-to-day fieldwork, coordinating with clients, and supervising junior staff on audit assignments
  • Technical oversight - Reviewing workpapers, identifying accounting issues, and ensuring compliance with auditing standards and firm methodologies
  • Client communication - Serving as the primary point of contact with client financial teams, conducting meetings, and requesting documentation
  • Team management - Supervising, coaching, and developing junior auditors and audit assistants
  • Risk assessment - Identifying key risk areas within clients' financial statements and designing appropriate testing procedures
  • Problem resolution - Addressing technical accounting issues and audit findings with appropriate solutions
  • Quality control - Ensuring audit work meets quality standards before review by managers and partners
  • Project management - Planning audit timelines, monitoring budget versus actual hours, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Documentation - Preparing detailed audit findings, adjustments, and recommendations for the final audit report
  • Business development - Identifying additional service opportunities and building client relationships to support the firm's growth
