Job Description

  • Develop and implement public affairs strategies tailored to the built environment sector.
  • Monitor and analyse policy developments relevant to the industry.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on navigating regulatory changes and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers and industry leaders.
  • Draft impactful communications, briefing materials, and policy submissions.
  • Represent clients at meetings, events, and public consultations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align policy efforts with broader client objectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs and solutions for clients.
  • Raising the profile of the agency and bringing in new business.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Built Environment, Public Affairs - Associate Director or Director, should have:

  • A solid understanding of the built environment sector and its policy landscape.
  • Proven expertise in public affairs and policy advisory within an agency, media or in-house.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to interpret complex policy issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
