Our client are a Leisure business in London who are looking for an Assistant Treasurer who will set solid foundations for the treasury team, whilst also continuously exploring opportunities to modernise, innovate and improve the treasury department.

About Our Client

Our client are a FTSE250 Entertainment business based in London.

The Group Treasury department is on an international scale, with operations in Europe and Asia as well. They are going through a transformation period to become a best in class treasury function and are looking for someone who will be comfortable in driving forwards this change.

Job Description

The Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for;* Managing the TMS Manager who will be responsible for a TMS upgrade/implementation

* Be the key person responsible for driving through change related to systems, operations, automation and processes

* Be responsible for deputising for the Group Treasurer

* Be responsible in a matrix structure for managing the Treasury Operations team (team of 5)

* Be responsible for creating the global treasury handbook and treasury policies

* Constantly seeking innovation and new ideas to improve the team

* Assist the Group Treasurer with the financing and refinancing of the debt portfolio

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Treasurer will have;

* Experience in a corporate treasury function where they have utilised systems and processes in order to drive solutions

* Be comfortable managing a direct report

* Have strong understanding of project management including bank rationalisation, streamlining subsidiaries

* Understanding of systems and digital innovation
