Job Description

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Support the preparation of income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
  • Produce month end and year end journals and ensure the reconciliations are up to date
  • Support the senior finance team in identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
  • Prepare and present the management account information for certain areas of the business to non-financial managers within the organisation
  • Supporting the senior finance team in making forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making
  • Evaluate the company's performance using key data and offer actionable insights
  • Input invoices on the system and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
  • Process sales orders on the system for certain areas of the business, allocating to the relevant purchase orders and working with other team embers to ensure invoicing is up to date.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Accountancy & Finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
